New Blogs STILL On The Way, But What's This...A JOB Perhaps?!?

Aya what's up and cooking everybody? Dear fuckies,...I know I said I'd be loading up the rest of the other blogs by now but you know how shit changes. Just like how I said I was gonna give first impressions on Garou but didn't post them (didn't even get arount to playing it that second time....I know, I suck for that). Well regardless, I'm here to keep it short but still long enough to inform. In essence, two notes to,..uhr,...note...(well THAT could've been said better).

First off, the new blogs are still going to be posted up, and that'll be all done no later than the 13th of this month (of COURSE I would deliberately choose a date like that; who dudn't want to finish up a block of business on the same day Lady Miss Bad Luck Bitch gets full free reign? Only me, right...). Can't say if they'll be up anytime earlier than that, but that WILL be the final due date for them. Secondly, the job search that's been going on-and-off-but-still-quite-rigorously for the past four or so months may finally be paying off; just this past Friday I filled out an application for the local FedEX (well "filled out" is a little misleading since that implies I actually took a good shit chunk of time to put the pen to the paper (or in this case the fingers to the keys). Me loves the snagajob for auto-handling it all). Almost immediately, I got a confirmation email with an interview appointment and everything set up for this coming Thursday. Needless to say, I'm pretty hopeful things go over well. That said, it looks like it'll be a pretty "strict" job in that not only is it the posistion of package handler (well, that isn't too strict in and of itself, though I'm sure most would complain about the ability to have to lift up around 75 pounds on a reg. basis. Then again, I'm use to that sort of weight and quite more; WORKING OUT FTW!!!), but it'll involve some airport work as well, so that'll require passing an additional test (and I'm sure a background and/or drug test'll be needed to, so uh, no wine this week I take it hehe) and getting documents for verification I've been here for the past 10 years. Just a little extreme but if it's what's gotta be done then it's gettin' done no questions. Still, I'd rather NOT have to go back to my old high, middle, and elementary school, but you know what fuck it. 'Sides I could catch up with a few teachers, see who's still there, been fired for a sex tape--OOPS!! (that last one actually DID happen, with an old middle school teacher I used to have. 'Tis best to save it for another time though). In that sense, the hunt for the documents begins in earnest on Monday,....I hate Mondays so much.

Anyways everyone, that's just a tiny bit of catching up over what's been going on with me and what'll be going on in terms of non art/gaming/film/music/whatever similiar stuff over the course of this week. Now if you don't mind, I've got a picture to get starting working on. Laters and g'day.

Final New Blogs Post Updates...

Oh my....we're closing in on that self-applied and afflicted deadline aren't we (stupid Firefox it can't even tell a correctly spelled word when it's right there....<ugh>)?!? Well as promised, the new blogs are on the way and they will be set up before the end of this month, so that gives me until late Saturday night to have them in place. At the moment, the political blog is definitely on the menu, as is the self-projects blog. The links blog should also be on the packaging block, but I can't garauntee when or in what order those blogs will be up around here. One thing's definitely a go though: they shall all be up and organized by the end of the month, and atleast one post for each of them. Seeing as how I'll be focusing on a new painting project (going into heavy phase work on it) starting tomorrow and need it done atleast a day before the 13th of next month and between then just working on various other little projects, checking school news and doing some rather active job hunting, Saturday's looking like the best day to get to that. Oh and planning on playing through a few games during that time (maybe even hopefully getting back to Galaxy!!) will postpone the new blogs until then. Get used to this though; I'm always a sorta "last minute" sort of guy when it comes to many things, but it's gotten a lot better recently and I'm making sure that the last minute shit is within practical understanding (like working up to the last minute of a picture to add those final little touches that really "complete" it though no picture's really ever complete hehe).

So there you go; the rundown. All the other shit I talked about reviewing will still be going down as planned, and a bunch of other stuff I haven't mentioned (mostly b/c even I am unaware of what it is yet...yeah a paradox wouldn't you say). There might be a philoshophical blog in there too but honestly I might just base that in this very one right here. Now all I need is a hub blog of sorts to include links to all the others. Work Is Still On The Way...

 Haha,..  I bet you guys were thinking this whole blog shit was dead in the water, weren't 'ya?!?  WEREN'T 'YA?!?  Well for a moment-a very brief moment but a moment no less-, it was...I was questioning if it was all really worth it, that is, until my brain woke up from it's slumber with a swift fart and got me thinking clearly again.  OF COURSE it's worth it!!!  So with that said, here comes the latest post, giving you guys and dames (you ladies can beat me up for the sexist remark hehe) a heads up of what's coming...

  First off, the rest of the blogs are still coming.  In truth, I'll probably marry all the "viewing" stuff (movies, television, anime, cartoons, etc) into the Kick Back and Enjoy The Show blog, as that makes the most since.  The art blog will still be for art, and the digital blog will be for that shit, gaming, and so on and so forth.  I'll also put up a political blog, b/c as we all know, today was a very prominent day and has gotten me rejuvinated to get that shit going (albiet the inarguation does have me thinking of..other thoughts.  MOTL).  Other than that, I think the only other additional blogs that'll be put up are the links/shout out/citations blog and the blog where I'll keep tabs on my various projects.  So that, in effect is the game plan.  Here are a few things I wanna get out the way as soon as possible.

  -Review: Day of the Dead (the OLD classic, not the new probably trite shit)

  ...and there's a hell of a lot more than where that came from.  Again, there's no solid date attached to these things, but if I can get all of these done by June this year, I'll be a very happy camper.  Then again, since I'm really hoping for a job posistion VERY soon at last, that could get pushed back by a month.  Also, with me trying to work my way to the eventual job as a game designer, I'm planning on just sharing my thoughts on how it's like to work up to that path and-surprising-that includes a shitload more than just playing games (yes, I'm being sarcastic).  I'll just keep that stuff to the blog for my projects and whatnot, but there's that gameplan.  I hope you guys enjoy that rundown, and as I said before, the rest of the blogs will be up by the end of this month.  So until next time, later out and g'nite.

Where'r the FUCKING blogs?!?

  ..Hmm well where are they indeed....Welp guys, how's it goin?!?  It's the main feed back again after a bit of a hiatus just dropping a bit of a small update.  Man is Mario Galaxy an awesome game, and I haven't felt that way for a game in a long while.  The Wii's shining moment so to speak, though I guess you can say I'm just around average or slightly below average at it at the moment (hey it's my first time actually using the Wiimote and Nunchuck for ACTUAL control in a game, not just the fucking select and home menu stuff).  Still, I do plan on getting much better, and that's actually happened already to an extent, though I could certainly stand to work on my puzzle-solving skills a shitload more (why could I NOT get that easy star so you ask?  B/c I just wasn't thinking worth shit you could say.  Hehe that happens quite often).  Unforturnately you can only get so much done when renting a game, and I don't think I'll be able to invest as much time into playing tomorrow as I'd hope (about three hours, at most, which ain't too much if you know what I'm sayin') so here's to just getting as far as I can.  Maybe a FEW more galaxies, a couple more boss fights,...but I doubt I'll get to Luigi (shit!).  Even so, atleast the game's left me Rosalina in Mario Kart, you know,..kinda like herpes leaving a present, only this one doesn't hurt when you touch or poke it hehe.

  Alright, nasty jokes aside, I still do plan on putting up the other blogs,..when my mind's set and made up.  At the moment, I know it won't be the shitload amount of blogs I thought it'd be at first; I just don't think it's humanly possible for a person to run that many of those things unless they're in it for a business angle or the money, and that isn't me.  Hell even then they usually have a staff and whatnot, but anyways I disgress...Being realistic, I'd say it'll be a few more weeks b/f those other blogs are up, but by the end of January,...definitely shit should be rolling by then.  Until that time, I'll just keep up with the ones already up, which won't be too hard.  And there's so much other stuff to mention right now, just on various projects in the works, but I'll just give them very brief mentions, in the other blogs.  So uh, yeah, that does it for here.  Until next time guys, see you and later out.  G'nite.

Small Update and Reminder...

  Alrighty everyone, how's it goin' today?  Well it's been somewhat of a busy day today even though there was one thing I unfortunately couldn't get done due to time constraints, but HEY, atleast now I'm deep into my next big painting piece and it's going rather fantastic in fact, and even better, all signs point to it being done before New Year's so that's obviously a pretty awesome way to close out '08.  Anyways, keeping this update small b/c I'm fendin' on doing a review on another blog like RIGHT NOW, so lemme just come right out and say it:  the other blogs likely won't be up until (at the latest) 12/31.  I know, I know; I said this Monday for sure but I'm just not in the mood to do them today.  That and the fact that I was painting for about six hours today, cooked dinner and watched a movie in which I'm actually set to review in a minute (and doing some small babysitting at that), the blog updates for today were not on the agenda.  Even worse, I haven't gotten a chance to play any games today really, so hopefully I'll have that time tomorrow (and am dead-set to force it to be available w/o jeapordizing any other work;  yes, I have my "ways" so to speak).

  So that's the FINAL date revision for these blogs, and-just in case I haven't mentioned it already-I might be curtailing some of the blogs in together.  Eight of them really does sound like too fucking many when you think about it, so the gist is to just streamline a few of them together but keep the more opposite ones seperate. OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!

.....It's almost New Years.  What?  You guys thought I was gonna proclaim the end of the world as we know it?  Bullshit to THAT.  Not when you've got great tunes like Cowboy Bebop's Want It All Back playing in your ears (dear God, that just sounded like a product placement.  But it's for something actually GOOD, so it can slide).  And anyways, how are all of you doing on this fine Saturday?  Me?  Well it's been pretty good.  Caught up with an old friend, got my music software working at last and getting reaqquainted with it, and managed to get a bomb-ass idea for my next picture at last, as well as some further progression in the comic I'm planning on releasing/start to publish around the end of next month or towards the mid/end of Febuary (and seeing as how SFIV is coming out in Feb., it makes sense to release it then as a sort of complimentary present right?  RIGHT?!?  Eh who am I kidding that's a DUMB idea), as the 1st issue's getting closer to completion but character designs still need to be finalized.  Moving on, seeing as how I've only got a couple of more hours (if that) before it's time to hit the hay, I guess I should let you in on ANOTHER setback.  And as you may've guessed...

  ...It's the damn blogs.  I know, I know; I said I was gonna have them all up and running by this Saturday (which uh just passed 10 fucking minutes ago), but time just hasn't been kind to me.  And another thing,..I think this "holiday" thing is getting to me too, as you know when you usually relax and don't get much shit done?  Well it's been that way for me the past few days (or atleast I think so personally), but lucky my sorry ass as my "off time" still includes working on stuff, even if it's just in a more sedate pace.  Things will definitely pick up on Sunday as THAT'S when I'll have the other blogs up, and Monday, when I plan on updating atleast a few of them and getting to work on the next part of the comic and my picture.  Of course, a proper bit of time's gonna be needed to get ready for that SFIV tournament (STILL can't fucking believe I'm this lucky.  Norfolk usually NEVER gets dibs on shit like this, and it's happening at MULTIPLE spots in the city?  Very funny God; you play a good joke, but I'll wait 'till Saturday to believe.  Of course you can threaten to kill me or some shit like that and I MIGHT believe a little earlier.  Maybe hehe), so yeah this week looks like I'll be busy, and good thing too since I really want the upcoming weekend to be free so I can let the big 2-1 sink in.

  So yeah, that's the plan.  And as for some stuff I'll be covering over the week (if all goes to plan):

   Resident Evil: Degeneration, Zack and Miri Make A Porno, Iji, Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, NATHAT, Kakurenbo, Naruto chapters, Resident Evil 5, SFIV, and The Dark Knight,..though honestly it could be anything else and nothing of what I just said; I'm unpredicable like that.  Hopefully that's clear enough for you guys.  Oh and yes I will definitely be making a post on New Year's Eve, so look forward to that.  Anyways, love you guys, live the night and bask in the day, an' lata.

And Hello Again...

  How's everyone doing on this fine, FINE Christmas Eve?  Enjoy my little pastorial-esque opening?  No?  Eh me either.  I'm certainly not the preacher type, but just like (most) of them, I'm hoping you all are enjoying your time off during the holidays.  For me, personally, having no job but the urge to keep working on my crafts actually creates a delimia; for the time I'd LIKE to just cool down, I'm finding myself working (albiet at a more relaxed pace these past two days) on these projects when I should, 'ya know, be hangin' out and bonding with the family.  Actually, I've done a fair share of that lately too, so somewhere in my fucking crazy ass head things are on the right setting hehe.  But I disgress (eh maybe the wrong choice of words; having just seen Resident Evil Degeneration, anything close to 'digest' is too strong to use, though admittalby the actual fights in the flick were damn weak; MOTL), after Christmas, I aughta be plowing full steam ahead and then two days right before the big 21, cool off again for the (I can't quite STILL believe it's this early) Street Fighter IV tournament, which is just awesome in it's purest, most unadulturated form.  

  Anyways, the reason for this update is to actually be a jackass (j/k), or rather to say, to say that an "update" isn't in the works today.  Remember when I said I would have all the various blogs set up by Wendsday?  Not gonna fucking happen.  I doubt I'll have any time tonight to do it; between my picture I'm working on, the possibilty of working on the comic some more, and watching another two or three more episodes of NATHAT before the rigilously early 1:20 am bedrest, there's not gonna be much time to set up those blogs in a QUALITY way I'd like, so let's get a little more realistic here.  Say instead of Wednsday, how's about Saturday?  How's that sound?  I figure tomorrow (as it's Christmas) will be my last downtime, and I'm likely gonna binge on Iji, Smash Bros., Mario Kart and maybe even Mega Man 8 or Parasite Eve on the good old greyed rustic treasure of ancient past, ala the Playstation 1 while working on the next scene for the comic, then Friday'll be more or less dedicated to my next picture, so the one day I can really set the rest of the blogs up (and likely even put a few more posts in the ones already up) is the very last of this week.  Hopefully this won't come to bite me in the ass.
